< Pet Sitter Plus Release V4.4 with Enhanced Client Portal Functionality.

 

Introduction

We are pleased to announce the release of Pet Sitter Plus Version 4.4.

 

This new release is all about improving the functionality available in the client portal with the introduction of many new options which enable your clients to better interact with you online.

 

We have also provided an option to schedule and to show time in 12 hour format (AM / PM) which means that (especially for our USA based clients) there is no longer a need to show time in military time or 24 hour format.

 

At a glance         

The key summary enhancements are as follows

 

  • Receipt Information. Your clients can now view their payment information and see how you allocated their payments to their invoices in the client portal.

  • Client Information. Your clients can now view their client information and make changes to the information that you hold on their behalf.

  • Pet Information. Your clients can now view and update the pet information that you hold on their behalf and they can create new pet records.

  • New Pet notepad. There is now an internal pet notepad as well as a client pet notepad. Clients have the ability to update the client pet notepad but the internal pet notepad is not available to clients.

  • Pet Pictures. Your clients can now upload pet pictures that can be seen in the pet record of the administrators interface.

  • Create Pet Records. Your clients can create new pet records.

  • Past Pets. Your clients can mark pets as “Past” meaning that they either no longer own the pet or the pet has died.

  • Notifications Feature. There is a new notifications screen visible on the HOME tab of Pet Sitter Plus. This is a really powerful feature that will be playing a central role in communications moving forward. All changes that are made to client data (by your clients) in the portal is now notified to you in the notifications pane under HOME.

  • View Scheduled Services. Your clients can now view the services that you currently have scheduled for them in their client portal account.

  • Military Time!!. America you will love this one – there is now a function to set the time format globally across the system in 12 hour (AM / PM) format as opposed to military time (24 hour clock). So now you can schedule jobs in 12 hour AM / PM format and your staff and clients can view all times in 12 hour AM / PM format.

  • Voided Invoices. Voided invoices are now no longer showing under the Invoices tab on the client portal interface.

 

Corrections

In addition to the above new features, the following system faults have been corrected;

 

  • Expense report totals have been fixed (where gross was showing as net).

  • Items marked as "hide in diary" were still appearing on the staff jobs list - this is now corrected.

  • There were still some £ signs showing in the staff interface. These have been removed.

  • Past Pets are now no longer showing in the staff mobile interface

  • The "days outstanding" column was not sorting correctly in the aged invoice report - this is now corrected.

 

 

 

New Features In More Detail

 

Client & Pet Information. 

Your clients can now view and amend their client & pet information and make changes / additions to the information that you hold on their behalf including the ability to

 

  • add new pets,

  • Change client & pet information held 

  • update vaccination records

  • Change feeding and medication / care notes

  • Upload pictures of pets

Notifcations. All changes made by clients are now brought to the attention of the administrator by the notifications system. In many cases, the exact field change is reported as a notification.

Staff Access to Pet Records. Staff members can now see the client notepad and the pet picture in their PC interface & Mobile Interface

View Scheduled Services. 

Your clients can now view the services that you have scheduled for them in a month view or day view format.

Receipt Information. 

Your clients can now view their payment information and see how you allocated their payments to their invoices. To view this option access any client portal account and click Payments.
