I was employed in a well paid position as a PA but took the decision five years ago to fulfill a lifelong ambition to work with animals and so in 2009 Scamps & Champs was formed. The business has been way more successful that I ever imagined and soon the admin side of things began to become a bind.
Before Pet Sitter Plus I ran my diary through outlook and had to manually create all my invoices which took ages. In order to do this I had to record all my sales separately in an excel spreadsheet which meant recording everything twice. To create a customer invoice I used to have to count the clients services as they appeared in the diary which took a long time and it was so easy to make mistakes. As the company grew larger and I started to take on staff my time was being taken up more and more doing menial admin tasks like working out staff salaries and creating and emailing staff schedules.
I signed up for the 30 day free trial of Pet Sitter Plus and at the time of writing have been using it for about a year. I can honestly say that I have never looked back.
Using Pet Sitter Plus it is extremely easy to book jobs in the diary which is my favorite part of the software. No more double entering information – once I enter a job its available to everyone and it also then appears on the invoice automatically.

Now the team log on to their diary whenever they like and the work schedules are always 100% up to date. When my staff acknowledge their jobs in the morning I can see they have done this in my master admin diary which is really useful for me as a manager and as soon as I add a job or cancel a booking my staff see this immediately.
The repeat services function is a life saver and saves me so much time. I record the requirements for each regular customer as a “repeat service” which means that setting up the diary for a new month takes only seconds.
Staff have access to all the customer and pet information and I can put special requests onto the system which then appear in the staff diaries and work schedules. The team can book their holidays onto the system and can see their future earnings which they love. Also PSP Mobile allows the team to access their diary from their phones so all information is readily to hand.
Another task that used to be laborious was calculating the pet carers wages. Now this is done for me by Pet Sitter Plus and is always accurate.
The level of support is second to none and the team at Pet Software are always on the other end of the phone if I encounter a problem. Responses to my support emails are very speedy.
My customers really appreciate the professional, clear, detailed invoices. Once I have scheduled all my work on the system – I can produce my invoices in seconds using the bulk invoicing program which again saves me so much time.
